For country walks or wrapping up warm on urban streets - Grange is a gender-neutral, casual, every day hat; which can be knitted either as a slouchy version or a shorter beanie style. Its textured design evokes an old barn's wooden boards, rustic and raw, straight or askew.Granget is warm and soft, with just the right amount of drape for a slouchy style hat, but with enough character to emphasise the beautiful textured pattern on its surface.

Knitted in Barn, a DK weight,100% British wool, a blend of Jacobs, white Shetland and black Shetland wools, to create the beautiful natural tones found in our undyed shade, Dry Stone Wall.

Designed for Susan Crawford Vintage by Julie Debreux, better known as Julie Knits in Paris. Julie utilizes her trademark flair for stunning textures in this simple but extremely effective but simple pattern, suitable for knitters of all abilities.
